Am I a whore?

Question

For starters, I'm 13. I've noticed that i can talk to guys more easily than girls about things. I don't know, I guess its just easier because I trust them that they won't go off and tell everybody in my school what I just told them. But basically, I like to hang out with guys more than girls, like on weekends and stuff.
But sometimes, my friends (girls) get mad at me and start saying that I'm a whore and stuff like that...then some of the girls tell the guys that I am a whore, which kind've causes problems whenever i have a boyfriend. For example, I got dumped the other day because my boyfriend "got tired of hearing about how much of a whore I was" and just didn't think he could trust me anymore. I DONT purposely flirt, i swear. most of the time i dont even think i am, but girls look at it differently. I don't even know if they realize it, but sometimes it really hurts knowing that some of the same people that you call your friends, go behind your back and call you a whore.

I AM involved, i play 3 different sports, two of which are for my school (fall & spring, everyday)
ahah i am nowhere NEAR being a tomboy.

not ALL of my friends talk about me
my guy friends stick up for me, it just seems to get to my boyfriends?
I don't dress trashy
i have a sister, but shes always been the "tomboy", and ive always been the "prep" [[i dont usually label people]]
basically, i had my first boyfriend not too long after she had hers...we dont relate very much.
my dad IS around, and hes not a total *** either, thank you very much.
and finally, i DONT sleep around.

just wanted to get all of that out;)

Your not a whore if you can talk to the opposite sex more than your sex. Your friends are just probaly jealous that you talk to alot of the guys. You are only a whore if you sleep with a whole bunch of people you dont even know.

are you doing things with the guys? Meaning like kissing and other stuff? A whore is when you are with other guys and will pretty much go to any guy and do stuff with them. "You get passed through the guys in your group." Hook up with one move to the next.

I have been in your boat. In the sense that I personally get along better with guys. I can talk to them more. I have no sisters and I grew up with 3 brothers...so I am more of a "tomboy". I have not really been called a whore but girls have become jealous cause I hang around the guys a lot and they do call me. Girls can be so mean. I dont steal there boyfriends and I do hang around both girls and guys. Certain stuff I can talk to girls about and certain stuff I can talk to guys about. It is not a good thing to be called a "whore" regardless of if you are or aren't so get away from that. Defend yourself and ask the girls why they call you a "whore". Most likely it is because of jealousy cause you hang out with the guys all the time. But if you get with all the guys then maybe you are. A "whore" is a person who earns their income by having sex for money.
So, you are obviously not a whore.
You are a 13 year old who has developed your interest in boys earlier and more pronounced than your friends. So, right now you are different. At this age, being different is not admired. So your "friends" call you names.
To be honest, it is too early to have one boyfriend. Try to be friendly with everyone. The ones who do not like you, will be that way no matter what you do. So do what makes you happy.

when i was your age
I would get called a whore all the time!
And honestly at your age
girls & guys!, will call you a whore for
any reason, If they hear you made out with someone or if you've dated like 10 guys
I know from experiance
Your friends are just jealous because you
can talk easily to guys and If im correct you must be real pretty, that may be another reason why they get mad because your pretty and guys want to talk to you and go out with you,And you get more attention then they do from all the boys

I'm girl and I talk to guys about certain things that some girl wouldn't but that does not make me a whore or you. I have female friends and they don't think I'm a whore because i do that, so those girls who are going around saying your a whore are and probably never was your friend. And they might be jealous because boys like you more, girls are just bit*ches like that. That's why i have more male friends then female friends because girls are too dramatic for me. But if your not making out or sleeping around with every guy you meet or know i would not consider you as an whore.

Unfortunately, people, especially kids, are cruel sometimes. They've learned a new word and use it on others to bond with each other. They may be a little jealous that you're popular with boys, and figure it's a good way to feel better about themselves to talk about you. A whore is someone who charges money for sex. I will assume that you're not doing that, so you're not a whore. The next time these people say that to you, tell them straight up that it hurts your feelings and it's not o.k. to call you that. Perhaps you should find better people to spend your time with. You know who you are, and so do your friends. You shouldn't care about these losers spreading rumors about you. I don't have much sympathy for your boyfriend, because I think what he did was wrong, but I understand because he's only 13 and caved to peer pressure. At any rate ignore them and just be yourself.

Well when i was in High school I would feel more comforatble with guys too and I had a lot of guys friends because they are just funnier and easy to talk to. I just feel like when you are talking to them about something you feel secure because the majority of the boys don't care about telling people about your problems. But they are boys who are the have the same sneaky ways as some girls. I don't think flirting makes you a whore, I believe that if you do much more than that then yes and you need to change your ways because guys do not want to be with a girl that has a bad reputation. I should know because I was with a lot of guys in high school but I would never go farther than kissing. I just wanted to find a good guy but most of them turned out to be idiots. So I changed my selections and priorities and I found my perfect better half. I am 20 and happily in love.

First, don't assume that guys do not gossip, because they do. If you were a whore, all the guys would know it. Some girls just get along better with guys in a platonic way, but girls that like the guys romantically may not understand your relationship and they tend to get jealous.

As long as you are not doing anything that you would do with a "boyfriend" then you are not a whore. And you are 13, boyfriends come and boyfriends go. Just continue to be yourself and you will be fine.

You are not a whore, that's stupid. Girls your age find the meanest thing to say and say it. Its a way to figure out the boundaries of life and they have crossed it. Make friends with girls that don't call you a whore. If you were just 7 again and I said would you like a piece of cake or a slap across the face which would you choose? Chooseing bad friends that make you feel horrible is like the second choice. Why are you friends with them? Do you they help you find more boys? Find some new friends that you make an effort to hangout with, but them make time to hangout with your boyfriends and simply friends that are boys. Don't break promises! You go girl!

I am a lad girl. Meaning I have more boy mates than girl mates, and thats the way that I am.

Reason for, I enjoy they're company, feel like I can have a laugh and a joke, feel that I can chat to to them.

I was like you and at the end of the day if you are not sleeping around with every boy, how on earth can they call you a whore.

Sweet heart, I am now 25, and you and your friends have a lot to learn in life. If your friends go around and talk about you like that then are they really your friends???

So what if you hang around with a group of boys, so what. Do what you makes you be happy in life. It's too short otherwise.
