I think that's an awkward situation. Cookies are a very big deal. But this is only the way you and I see things, your friend probably will just laugh at you for being an idiot...

yes so she'll get over this jerk. It may hurt now but in the long run she'll thank u because she 'll know u didn't want her to get hurt anymore by this jerk.
just remember there is a possibility that she won't believe u so if u can get a pic that would help
