I think it's very pretty. Amelia is a name most commonly linked with the first woman aviator, so it's a strong name. You don't hear it very often these days so it's both a classical name and original since it isn't over used. I picture a willowly little girl with a mischievious grin when I think about that name. Amelia and Claire go together really well.

I choose Amelia to Claire, so my well-known is Amelia Claire. I also imagine that Amelia Jones sounds quite effective, Claire Jones is somewhat uneven. Amelia Jones, aka Milly Jones. i love it. :)

I think that Claire goes well with Amelia. However, would you call her Amelia all the time, or would you have a nickname?
Make sure you pick out a cute nickname. "Meelie" is not the greatest.
