If you were given the chance to make up three new laws-preferably in the UK, then what would they be. Also they have to be sensible-and benefit all, not just yourself. Thanks!

To be able to choose which person we have as Prime Minister, not just the person a political party wants.

To end the late drinking law, so that there are less problems with drunkeness costing the tax payers money by having to have more police out of a nightime.

Bring back the law against spitting in the street and on buses etc. There are more and more incidences of TB coming back in this Country.

And I whole heartedly agree with Toto good on you hun

Hi London,
Well, I am lucky enough to be on the outskirts of a small rural town, so these will not apply to the whole population by a long chalk , but ....... I put it to the House that :

1 All litter louts, dropping drinks cartons and sweety wrappers from local shops should, through the courts, be enforced to go around the whole town for a week picking every bit up.

2 Silly abusive comments to the elderly on electric scooter things should carry a penalty of driving one, instead of the stupid scooter with L plates.

3 I would allow it OK to use my machete / rifle, if someone is trying to nick good stuff from my garage., without retribution.
(Not that it happens around here, although a neighbour had a pair of garden shears taken from his shed)

Those are the dodgy ones, but I would also put forwards on the statute that all good citizens should be recognised on a points basis, say getting involved in community projects, and without the old MBE system, be awarded an amount to their active organisation.
Not exactly huge National issues, and maybe I will be thought of living in dream world, (no), but such things should and are worth a try for many in the land.

1. That the NHS is protected from Government control and it's mangement is given back to the public with all the needless fat cat managers getting the boot.
2. That people who openly litter the streets get on the spot fines and community service, streetcleaning.
3. That anyone who is caught driving and using a mobile gets a 3 month driving and mobile usage ban. If they break that then they go in the slammer.

1.) If your caught talking on a cell phone, or DUI then you are to be automatically kicked out the country and the US as well.

2.) You need an IQ of at least 150 to carry a gun on person.
(This applies to the US as well)

3.) If you go 6 months unemployed w/o a VALID reason you are also to be kicked out of the country.

my laws would be

1) if you drive up the middle lane of a motorway and stay there even though the inside lane is free you loose your driving licence for 2 weeks and if you do it again the ban goes up to 1 month then 6 months then 1 year and so on

2) old people should be banned from going to tesco's or the post office between the hours of 12 and 3 on weeks days and all day at the week end

3) all people coming into this country have to have a crb check and any that are sex offenders, paedophiles or murderers don't get in and get sent back to where they came from (I'm not against immigration, just those undesirables that we don't want over here)

No taxation without accountability.

Politicians MUST tell the truth..at least sometimes.

Any politician or anyone on the public payroll caught fiddling their expenses to be imprisoned for 25 years...no parole.

No further integration with the EU without a referendum of the people of the UK.

1. Make all education free

2. Allow a decent tax allowance for all to be able to manage and have some cash to save for emergencies.

3. Introduce politics to school curriculum so we can have younger politicians, same old cronies going round and round spoiling everything.

4. Bring back the death sentence for muderers.

( I must learn to count - sorry got me going now! Damn it)

I'd have a law making it illegal to gob in the street. Looking at other people's phlegm makes me want to vomit. Also it's a health hazard.

That's the only one I can think of, at the moment - I've been thinking about that one for about fifteen years. (Oh, also, people putting their finger against one nostril and blowing the contents of the other nostril onto the pavement right near my feet.) This one is really vile as well. I think they see top athletes doing it and think we should all be doing it. Euugghhh!

1. Every household has a maximal electricity consumption level depends on how many people live in the house and how big the house is. If they use more energy than they should, they have to pay fine.

2. More Recycling

3. No Racism

I know it sounds hippie but that's what I think.

No running past and farting in your siblings face if you are the eldest child.

No cutting your daughter's hair using a mixing bowl as a template - longer sentence if it's your son; even longer time in jail if you leave a stepped mullet.

On the spot fines for people walking down the street texting and bumping into people. CCTV footage sent into You've Been Framed if they hit a lamp post / wall / speed camera mounting, with money raised going to Specsavers.
