The Catholic Church has allowed sinners into the Church ever since Peter denied Jesus three times and went on to become the first Pope.
The Church:
+ Has always been filled with sinners
+ Is filled with sinners
+ Will always be filled with sinners
Some of the sinners trying to become saints will fail and will do terrible things.
The Catholic Church teaches:
Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all people have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.
+ Homosexuality +
The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

+ Women Priests +
The Catechism of the Catholic Church currently states:
The Lord Jesus chose men to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry.
The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.

What an interesting question.....
Lying, adultery, murder, thievery - all sins, yes. But you make it seem as if it is a bad thing that the Church allows such people to worship Jesus in a Church, why? Jesus came to call the sinner to repentance, not the righteous. So why do you question the Church's willingness to redeem serious sinners?
What do you mean when you claim the "Church does not allow women"? When it comes to women, just go to any Catholic mass and you will see many women worshiping Jesus along side men.
It's the same thing with gays/lesbians. Merely being gay/lesbian is not a sin. Therefore, they are allowed to worship along side the straight at mass as well.

If they did not where would they get their priests?
Just look at the number who end up in court for sexual offences against minors, all the people who say they were beaten by the nuns and monks at school and other situations.
Sin is a Christian concept and sadly they keep illustrating it for all to see!!!
But do not ignore the fact that there are a few good, loving, caring and forgiving Christians out there!!

First off, we are all sinners. The church allows ANYONE through it's doors, liars, adulterers, murderers, theives and gays, but we are not supposed to be PRACTICING..liars etc.
Those in the church that truly want to please God try not to steal and commit adultery and so forth, because we know it hurts God.
Homosexuals (most, but not all) see nothing wrong with being gay and do not want to quit this practice or lifestyle.
Everyone should try to be good becuase sin hurts God and we will be accountable for our deeds one day...
Revelation 21:8

Because they are confused. They don't know anything and the priest go to school for ten years. they don't even know if Jesus Christ is God or man.

hey texasdolly39: are you really worried about sorcerers? your bible quote is ridiculous. why would you even mention that sorcery is a sin, like its actually something to worry about!
