Am i a liberal or am i a conservative?
I want to support our boys out there and i don't want them dying or killing for that matter, but i don't agree with why our leaders sent them there.
I don't agree with abortion at any stage of the pregnancy
I don't agree with homosexuality, but i don't think it's up to me or my fellow citizens to decide whether it's right or wrong.
I strongly belief in God, but i don't want to impose my believes on anyone.
I strongly belief in the statement- "i may not belief in what you have to say, but i'll defend unto death for your right to say it"
I belief that the constitution is the greatest achievement of mankind, and i hate anyone that misuses it.
I belief that the perfect government that we had is not working, checks and balances are not happening as they should.
I do not belief my vote counts anymore, if i wanted anything done i should join a lobby group.
I belief in immigration and general amnesty, but border control too
So what am i?

So sound like an old fashioned Democrat. I don't mean that unkindly. The Democrats of today are not the Democrats of yesteryear.

I'm not really used to whole American definition of "liberal" versus "conservative". Both labels have these implications to them down in the US that I just don't get. Were I to apply a label to your beliefs in the manner in which I was trained in a Canadian school of political science, I would call you a believer in the tenets of classic liberalism such as people like Locke, Jefferson, and Hobbes espoused. That would explain your "live and let live" attitude to what seems to be a moderately social conservative ethos you hold in regards to your personal life. That was what the old school liberals of the Enlightenment and the eighteenth century revolutions believed in. Not what is present in modern governments today.

Sounds moderate. The big question, you didn't ask and it tells a lot about person, is are you a statist. I really don't mean it in a mean way, but it a question that needs to asked. Do you believe big government is necessary for equality, or that government should be minimal, for the sake of individual rights, that government should only assure equal opportunity, but shouldn't muck around with equal results.

Conservative and Liberal mean little to me. Both terms have been taken over by political parties that don't adhere to the principles. As such Liberal doesn't necessarily mean for liberty, and conservative doesn't necessarily mean for the status quo. So the terms statist and classical liberal are more telling.

I would say you are a Liberal...you do not impose your religion on others and you have a firm belief in the Constition and you do not want this war in Iraq

But you are right to want to be free of any political affiliation....but if you do not join the side with most of your views, you won't be in the fight at all...you can always change over when the party of your choice moves politically

I'm right there with you on everything but the belief in God, and immigration, I'm more isolationist and believe we need to take care of our own.

I think you are right in the middle somewhere, where you are fiscally will further determine how far to the left or right of center you are.

I am also in the center, slightly more left of center because of my fiscally liberal views and brought to the center for my socially conservative views.
