why do guys prefer tan girls than light....?

idunno but most guys i know go for the tan girls bc their"hot" and stuff like that but when it comes to the white girls their all like ewww shes pale....just wondering gentlemen!?!

Actually that is not a true statement. In fact if you were to take a poll amongst guys you would probably find that more guys prefer healthy, supple skin on a female. Fair skin equals femininity. Girls whether tan or fair skinned are liked and adored by our male counterparts. While tan skin on younger people does offer a healthy glow. The appearance is very deceiving indeed. A tan is your skins natural defense against the sun. The reason your skin tans is because when you enter the sun the Melanin in your skin darkens to defend your skin thus producing tanned skin. Just wait until later on in life when you run into your "Sun Goddess Friends" I guarantee you that they will look worn, weathered and twice there age. While you will look young, appealing, and have healthy skin. Let's see who the guys are looking at now. !!..............laceyemerill

Actually, I think women like dark men, and assume that men like dark women. They also believe that dark means healthy, and pale means sickly. When people say, "you look pale," it's because you're paler than what is usual for your natural skin tone. But do you think Irish people are sick all their lives?

To me, fairness is more feminine, and darkness is more masculine. Maybe in fitness clubs you'll find men who like women darker, but that's probably because that's what they're used to. Women also think men like them to be pencil-thin. This image comes from two places: dietitians, 97% of which are women, and the fashion industry, which is controlled by gay men. I like some skinny women, and even a few in the 200-pound range but, truth be told, my "type" is pale skin, thick thighs, an inch to pinch around the middle, and a vertical innie.

While most straight men are attracted to individual women of many different skin tones (we don't keep a sheet of acceptable colors like Hitler), it's my understanding that we tend to be more attracted to white women than to black women, and that's not because of culture or hair consistency; it's because white girls tend to be hotter.

The theory is that Tan looks healthy,as to pale looks unhealthy.Have you ever been sick and people say to you,"are you feeling bad?You look pale".That's why tan is more appealing,it just gives you a glow,a little color.Fortunately; now a days, there are ways for people who don't tan,or who don't like to be in the sun to get a healthy tan.I highly recommend you try some of those sunless tanners,not the self tanners,they usually have undesirable results.The sunless tanners have more color,almost like makeup,you see the color as you apply it.The self tanners work over a period of time and work somewhat with your skins pigment,and if your very fair skinned,your pigment is very light and will not get much darker.Mostly more yellow or orange.So try a good sunless tanner like Nutragena.

Most guys I know like a little color......but hate tanning both orange girls! Its even worse when it is uneven and blotchy looking. Any woman over 40 should not tan much......ages you a lot.

It's because probably they want another color of skin for a change because all of the girls out there are white so that's the reason why they don't want whites. But me I do like white girls.

if you could compare the same woman when she's white as a ghost next to herself with a tan then you would probably say that the tan version looked better, too. Just like how body builders alway have fake tans because it makes their muscles look better. Women have always known that fat looks better when tanned.
