i personaly do not wear makeup and i want to hear from anyones point of view any positives or negatives on this subject

makeup is not a necessity to look beautiful, as i know many beautiful women who don't even touch the stuff and also other less attractive women who won't go out without a full face of paint. however, makeup can be a great accessory. it makes you feel a bit more confident of yourself and makes you stand up just a bit straighter. there are almost no negatives of makeup especially if you know how to put it on. makeup polishes up your look.

I LOVE makeup! It's one of my guilty pleasures :). My favorite is foundation and mascara, although it's kind of hard to find good formulas. I love foundation because I have obnoxiously red cheeks, and it helps to even out my skin. I love mascara because I have extremely light eyelashes. I like to think of makeup as an art form though, and I love experimenting with different looks (although I prefer a natural look). One reason that I don't like makeup though is it takes time, and I'm kind of a perfectionist, so my husband can get irritated if we're going somewhere.

Positives: Makeup brings out the good features in your face (eye color, etc).
It raises self confidence
It makes me feel beautiful
Negatives: It can be bad for your skin
It can get expensive
Too much or using it the wrong way makes you look like a clown.

I think makeup is a great way to accent the great features that you have. It should in no way hide too many flaws, or make you look entirely different than you do, it's merely to accentuate the great aspects about your face.

I only wear eye makeup.
I think everything else is just too much.

I think makeup is a great way to highlight features but most people use it to hide features.

It gives me confidence because it covers little marks.. then when they go away I cut it out (well with foundation) I always wear mascara and eye liner I feel better wearing it

i didnt wear make up in till like last week....... no makeup is easy you never have to worry about it running down your face and theres no time taken out of your day to put it on...... now that i started to wear it it feels weird not to put it on....

I love my makeup even though i have a great skin color and also no blemishes or bumps but it makes me feel prettier.
