need suggestion.?

my car ac is not working .mechanic told that compressor might be broken.and he said that if it is broken then it will cost me a lot. i m driving santro. can anyone tell me how much it will cost to repair ac of my car?

start at about 1,000 replace comp. flush system to clean it of all junk in lines re charge replace comp oil check for leaks . i live in florida i try not to use the air save gas if its to hot stay home . I left out a few parts must repalce drier

the best way out to deal with this problem is to go to the nearest authorised hyundai service station and check with them.... the simple reason being if you get it done outside the mechanic would charge u a lot... and u could just get to know about the rough estimate from the service station..... and thn its your call if you want to get it fixed in there or somewhere outside...

well there is just one more thing that u should know about hyundai cars which is, the mechanic there at the service station would be trained by the Korean guys to deal with the problem and give u an effective solution to it... where as others are not trained although and they just know about putting in new parts....

Check the junk yards for a used pump

Either way, low on freon, bad clutch, plugged system, bad pressure switch, blown fuse, frozen pump, .....

You're going to need proffesional help to evacuate the system and pressure test it.

i might could have answered this but you didn't even tell me what kind of a car it is, engine size or anything,and its impossible to answer this without knowing all of this information on the car its self,good luck with it.
