I have 2 boys, and their 21 months apart! If I did change something about them then I would be afraid that I wouldn't love them the same way I do now! They annoy me with every being they have at times. Their demanding and try to manipulate me to do what they want to! Cry when they don't get what they want! If I could change one thing, it would be they could find away to see all the things I do for them because I love them so much. And that they would be able to appreciate what I do do for them on a daily basis. Such as feed them, allow them to be happy and live as children.

(*sigh*) Love her dearly, but the two choices are make her less chatty...she babbles...or give her a little more motivation. She has a tendency to want to hit "the easy button" in life, and anything that requires effort doesn't really make her list.
I keep hoping one or the other will change.

I'd like them to be confident and successful.
To FI....good luck to you and your daughter. I know it's not easy having a sick child. My oldest daughter had a liver transplant at a year old. She'll be 21 in July! Long, hard, scary road, but she's doing well. I'll be thinking of you and you're family...

I would change her outlook on life a bit, and her energy level. Otherwise she's a good kid, or young lady now that she's almost 17.

I'm like you, I don't have any. However, I'd see just how well they took their schoolwork if I told them they'd get paid for good grades. The way I see it, if we get paid for what we know, then wouldn't it be hypocritical if our kids didn't?
