During my last pregnancy I had 11 days of spotting that varied from bright red to brown starting at 6 weeks pregnant. The doctor didn't find a cause.

I'm here to say that I didn't even take a preg test until I was 10 days late because the day I was supposed to start my period I started having light brown discharge, so I thought I was doing my normal thing, but when I didn't start my usual heavy flow of red blood, I knew something was up because the husband and I had been ttc. Sure enough it was positive and I am now going to be 15 weeks on Tuesday. Even since the brown discharge I have had red spotting that was light and the brown as well. The doc sees no cause for it and says that sometimes where your hormones and your body are adjusting to the pregnancy that you will experience spotting. Every time I would call they would tell me that unless had heavy red bleeding that soaked a pad in an hour, passing clots, and cramping, that I shouldn't worry, they weren't concerned about it. The spotting has stopped, but I do have to say I know it is frustrating, just hang in there, good luck, and congrats!!!!

I bled for 10 days lightly in my first trimester. I actually thought this was my period, leading me to believe i wasnt pregnant. It was much lighter than a normal period, but lasted a lot longer. I knew it was odd but didnt think too too much of it. I later found out at 15 weeks 5 days that I was pregnant, after not having a period again for over a month and a half. I have since been to the Dr. and had an ultrasound. I still dont know what caused the bleeding but it hasnt caused any harm to me or my unborn baby girl. Good luck!

I bled and they told me all bleeding could be a possible miscarriage and needs to be followed up on. They don't know why I did, but I have a girlfriend that is going through the same thing and her baby didn't attach to the uterus correctly and I know another lady that bled because her RH factor didn't match and her body was rejecting the baby, and I can go on and on. GO GET CHECKED- no bleeding is not normal in pregnancy it sometimes is not a concerned but a responsible person would get it checked out.
Also- every one of us got put on weight restrictions, had to have hcg pulled 3x a week, no sex, and some of us on complete bed rest.

I did with my daughter from 8 weeks till 14. It was only after she was born and they saw the placenta they said the bleeding had been caused by part of the placenta coming away from the uterious wall. She was born healthy, safe, alive and well.

I have two children and I bleed both times but the doctor said it was fine, not to worry. If you have cramping and alot of blood you may be having a miscarriage. Just talk to you obgyn.

I did, your cervix is softer during pregnancy and it's usually normal to have pink or brown spotting. Especially if you have recently had sex. But it's still a good idea to go to the doctor or the ER.

I had a little spotting, but not much. it only lasted for a few minutes. I went straight to the doctor and he didn't find anything wrong. After that I was fine. Go straight to the doctor and tell him what's been going on.

there could be many reasons why. if you took a medication stress or anythings could cause spotting but no matter what you showed contact your doctor to make sure you are not having any issues that could cause harm to you or the baby. (I'm not trying to scare you but I also what you to be cautious. good luck for you and the baby
