You need to see a lawyer. In general support stops at 18. Your agreement or state laws may vary that.

Go to your state's child support enforcement site and look up emancipation. Normally child support terminates when the child is 18 and graduates high school; 20 at the latest is normal. Or you can call your local child support enforcement office and ask them the age of emancipation in your state. Sounds like your child is emancipated if he is 20, works full time and out of high school.

I live in New York City and I believe that my father has to pay child support until I am 21 or 22 (it maybe as long as I am in college he has to pay that long) but the laws where my father lives are different so it varies.

you ned to get a lawyer. I believe if he is considered disable he can recieve social security, but once a child is 18 and or graduates from high school, you should not have to pay unless noted in the divorce papers

Hire a good family law attorney, because if she gets a doctor to testify that his is not capable to support himself, you are on the hook. You have to prove he can care for himself.
