Bleeding during pregnancy is not normal, but there can be causes other than a miscarriage. One cause is if you've recently had sex you may have some spotting or bleeding. And some women just have unexplained bleeding during pregnancy. It's always a good idea to call your doctor and get guidance on what to do anytime you bleed during pregnancy.

If you're pregnant, even a small amount of vaginal bleeding can be scary. Sometimes, bleeding does signal trouble — but not always. In fact, many pregnant women experience light vaginal bleeding at some point during pregnancy, particularly during the first trimester. Often, such bleeding is the result of a normal event during pregnancy, such as the embryo's implantation in the uterine lining a little over a week after conception.

You should always take bleeding seriously if you're pregnant, monitoring it closely and taking note of related symptoms, such as cramping. To be on the safe side you should go see your Doctor to rule out any possible problems.

It's normal to spot a little bit the first month when you're period was supposed to come, but not normal anytime after that. Since you're very early into the pregnancy (I'm assuming), you're best bet is to make a Dr. appointment and go from there. Dont worry, I'm sure you'll be fine. Are you feeling really tired? Does anything normal now make you sick? ( i.e, used to drink 2 cups of coffee a day, now the smell makes you sick) Those are all good signs that you are pregnant too.

It could be either normal or a miscarriage. If the blood is brown, it's old blood and probably fine. If it's bright red blood, I'd be more concerned. Bright red doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage but it's generally not a good sign.

You should call your ob/gyn and let them know what is happening. Unfortunately, if it is a miscarriage, there isn't anything they can do for you except to monitor you to make sure it's complete.

Good luck. I've been there so I know what it's like. :-(

If you have an OB/GYN call them now and leave a message with the answering service for someone to get back to you and let them know what is going on. This could be old blood also.

You will have to see a doctor for that. From what i know anytime you are or might be pregnant, bleeding is a very bad thing.
