You have to believe- in the absence of any proof of an after life the best we can do is hope and believe. I know how you feel having a recent bereavement myself. Life will be very hard for you for some time. I have felt comfort in knowing that when I do laugh I feel closer than ever to my loved one-and somehow when I am so sad, he doesn't feel so near. If there is life on the other side(and I fervently want to believe that there is) you would want your Dad to laugh and be happy- not tormented with grief- and that is just what he wants for you. You will NEVER forget- but it is OK to feel happy again- it is surely what your Dad would want. Good luck- the road ahead is very hard. xx

Hi Honesty, I am so sorry for you lose. Your dad is in a very good place now. He is in heaven with all his friends and family. So don't worry he is happy and has no more pain and he will be waiting for you to join him when the time comes. I believe that my mom and all my grandparents are waiting for me too. It sort of gives you a good feeling that your are going to go to heaven when your times comes and to be with your love ones. Think of it like this and you will have peace of mind. Try and have a good day and be happy..
A Friend.

Yes. Definitely. There is a place we think of as Heaven. I don't know what its like but I don't think its fluffy clouds and harp players, however, I do know that no-one will be disappointed.

I'm sure your Dad is content and is surrounded by love; even more than he when he was here and you sound like he was one of the most blessed men on Earth.

If he was anything like my beloved Dad who died seven years ago in September, he'd want you to live your life to the full. My Dad would tell us that he'd had his life and had given it his all. He married his dream woman and had three children who he watched grow into strong adults. He adored his grandchildren who all loved him in return.

Now, it's our turn to give our all to the next generation. I'm with you on this one. You'll never stop missing him, Dads are amazing but remembering him will give you strength.

Sorry about your lost. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior you will go to a better place. I know that not everyone is going to agree with me, but this is the way I feel about going to a better place.

I don't believe in God, but I do believe there is a better place. Nobody truly knows the answer, but I definately believe we go somewhere else. After all, death is another part of life, and the journey doesn't end here. My condolences to you in this sad time.

Yes I believe there's a better place. My grandmother will take care of your dad. Don't worry. I'm not religious, but I still believe in the afterlife.
