Indeed he is. You have hit the nail on the head there. When I was a student I had the unfortunate job of bringing the drinks in to his dressing room one night when he played at the SSEC in Glasgow. All I can say is - I ended up nearly decking the little **** beause of his attitude. I will actually deck him if he ever returns because he is a hateful little man that deserves NOTHING! He tried to take out his anger on me because he had sent out for 'A Pimms & Lemonade' and because it wasn't diet lemonade (he never made any distinction on the order!) he took a flakey! I tried to assuage his anger by offering another but he just went of on one, trying to blame ME, so that was it, the bouncer had to restrain me and little Collins shat it. I have never met such a dispicable person. He will get a kicking next time, make no mistake.

Maybe Phil Collins is everything you want to be! Personally I think he is a cool singer with a great personality! His songs are a classic and actually most people I speak to all compliment him. And in answer to your question - No I don't think he is a **** because a **** is a pregnant goldfish for a start, and secondly he is awesome. So you and your friends should stop being jealous and perhaps learn to appreciate music.

I just don't like him because there for a while he was so overplayed I couldn't turn on the radio without hearing Phil singing. If it wasn't solo it was with Genesis...and I honestly thought I was in some kind of hell when that was going on. Since then I can actually listen to In The Air tonight without the twitching coming back. Just don't ask me to watch his videos tho...I could get violent.

No, Phil Collins is indeed a right see-you entee. His songs are 5h1t and he occupies a bizarrely affectionate position in the best sellers' list, much like Robbie Williams and Coldplay. There's more warmth in a Kraftwerk album than there is in any of Phil Collins' work.

I've never heard it stated before, but always kind of thought there must be a problem somewhere since he can't seem to hold a marriage together. At least he has his money. That'll keep him warm.

Some of his best work was with Brand X. Once Genesis shrunk to three members, it was essentially another solo project for PC.

He's a bit of a prat like. He uses the drums as much as he can in every song he does just cos he was a drummer. That's quite annoying.

You must admit his early years in Genesis was tops - until Peter Gabriel left, and to be honest, haven't heard nor seen anything of him since. Carpet Crawlers, anyone?
Oh dear - if he has attained an attitude, then excuse me for my ignorance!

Please please don't say he's a cockney!
He was a little posh boy who went to stage school and whose early years were spent acting in Childrens Film Foundation films trying to sound cockney.
He has a thriving career on mainland Europe, where they dance to anything.

I don't know him personally, though I do enjoy a lot of his music. Clearly plenty of other people do too or he wouldn't be so rich. Something I fairly sure about it, he, like the rest of us, couldn't give a damn what you think about him.
