I agree I'm sure that NASA is planning a mission to Mars. And I bet your right people will land there within 20 years.

I think it is possible that we will get to Mars in the next 15 years. NASA will have to do a little more research first. They are still working on completing the International Space Station, so we can launch ships from there to save fuel.

Thats about right give or take. The plan is published but the debate rages on skipping the moon ect. It will end up being done with a joint effort by civilians or they may do it before the governments. It is a money thing and when the profit line is clear, the real move will happen. The moon is money but may slow up Mars. We have a lot more research to do, but we have the tech to go today and it's not that expensive. Are you brave enough? I'd go.

Sure we will, but it will be a long time before this happens. The dependent variable is the provision of an environment which will provide the necessary components for human survival. As we know it no, the Mars atmosphere is hostile to human survival.

I knda think man/woman will set foot on Mars!?! They are waisting time trying to over`come being scared !?!& even if it does'nt go as planned!?! No, first answerer, it's a mission to the *moon* by 2020. After that, they will decide on a timeframe for a mission to Mars.

I really hope that we never as a civilization land on and occupy another planet. We cannot look after this one. What do u think we will do to anther planet.

i do not know if humans from this planet have been there or not. if when we get there,will we find humans from another planet like ours have already been there and left something like their history info or time capsule or something ? maybe our androids have been or are there now . setting up camps or something. have not we sent some androids out programmed for things like that?
