DEATH!. Seriously your friend is due for:
No Insurance £200 and 3 points
No MOT, £100 and 3 points
No Tax £80 and paying back tax and penalty for breaching SORN
Unroadworthy vehicle £100 and 3 points for each defect.
As Tow driver you may be done for aiding and abetting: same penalties. Best if he gets it on a trailer.

the only way to get around it is book a mot near were u are going if u get puled u can prove u are taking it to the mot centre witch u dont need any tax or insurance for
