I, personally, love to be ticklish and I love to be tickled so I would never want to stop the pleasure.

If it is a problem for you, you need to learn mind-over-matter. When you are being tickled, relax your muscles and focus on something else. Perhaps you are focusing on a light switch or a spot on the wall or ceiling.

Ticklers will lose interest when the ticklee is not laughing. Just try to focus on something else and take some deep breaths while relaxing your muscles.

(Any ladies care to tickle me???)

Well, I once talked to an older family friend about this. She had a brother who would tickle until one peed their pants, so she overcame it by simply not laughing when she was tickled. She just refused to laugh, and eventually she became unticklish (word?)

I hold my breath to help me stop laughing. works for me. Nobody will try tickling you if you're not laughing.
