what's the purpose of having one. Coming from a guys point of view i think women that have piercings in odd places usually turn out to be odd themselves. If your going through a phase or if you think this will uplift your spirit it will only be temporal. Do what's right for you it sounds like you only want one because other people you know have one. Instead of going with the flow just be yourself. How is something so trivial as a belly piercing going to complete your life???

Just wanna say I had mine done when I was 22, had a nice flat tummy then too. Then now after 2 kids - the tummy ain't like what it was ya know... lol... so nothing to brag about anymore.. heh.. would I do it if I had known how it would look right now? Yep!! Ask me again when when I'm 50 I might have a different answer though!

Go for it!! Belly bars are set to come back soon in the near future so you would be ahead of the game. But remember to keep the jewellery tasteful, a small crystal bar is fine, but get into thick gold coloured metals and plastics you may look cheap.

First sweetie, if you want to get your belly pierced, you need to some research on body pierced and take some precaution. Second, you need to know how to take care of it afterward. It take six month or longer for belly piercing to heal.
With all that out of the way, if you want it, GO FOR IT. You will look hot with it!

If your a teenager, you need your Parents permission.
Personally, I wouldnt give it to my Daughter and she would have to wait until she is 18 in order to get this done.
If you "ever" get fat, or a bit of a belly on you, then its going to rip that silly thing out, if you forget to remove it, and the scars are going to look "nasty" on either side of your belly button, (large red spots when they heal up).
"If" you need to be "you" and think that you are not "complete", then you are insecure and this silly "thing" will not do it, because next your going to want something else, to "complete" you later on in life!
I personally wouldnt recommend it, but then again, at 51 I dont have piercings, tatoos or any other silly "thing" because "I" am complete and never needed any of that "junk" to make me feel like I needed to be "somebody". I "am" and always "was" somebody!

Natasha, please take a time out and think about your decision. Take a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle of it and write on one side prose and on the other cons. I would start with the number one con. Could get infected.
You need to ask your self what good is this going to do for me? Search out the reason why this is so important to you.
This is definitely a health issue

There's no in or out, meaning if you want your belly pierced because you like how it looks go for it, I personally think they are really cute on girls with nice tummy's. I work with a girl who is 50, she has a great belly and her's in pierced. It is all about what you want and what makes you feel good.

If you are at all concerned about it then dont. You should feel right about doing this and not have the need to ask about it. This is a big decision for you and have you gave it a lot of thought? At the end of the day, it's you and you alone who will make this decision coz you have to live with it, not a lot of people who dont know you.

Go a head an get it I got mine when I turned 18 I was so scared because I HATE NEEDLES hahah but you know what my friend came with me and before I knew it, It was all over and cute pink belly ring was in my stomach and to this day I love it cuz if i wear chanell bag and earings I have a chanell bellyring to match I think you should get it good luck
