I need to start looking for apartments in Queens, can someone tell me what areas are dangerous to live in? I'm pale as the moon so I glow in the dark.

Queens is one of the most ethnically-diverse boroughs of an ethnically-diverse city. I'm not sure that any neighborhood would be specifically dangerous to 'pale' people, unless your glowing in the dark kept them up at night.

Forever 21 is a great shop, amazing clothes at great prices and quality. The one in Times Square is huge and isn't filled with tourists, locals like to go there too! Herald Square is a great place to shop around, many stores to go to, be sure to visit the big Macy's! The area you are staying is great, a lot of great people on the streets, always:) At night, go to Times Square, just avoid going out at night in places that are more local. Have Fun! :)

NYC can change block by block. If you see a place you like go back there after dark. If adults are walking around it should be safe. On the other hand, if it's mainly groups of teenage males forget about it.
