I personally was stuck in the boy band era and was totally obsessed with Nsync. lol but who wasn't at the point. no one could resist those cute boys.

my mom totally loved david cassidy back her days. that was her dream man. lol

I'm older than you but younger than your mom - so my boy band phase was all about New Kids on the Block!!! I had the BIGGEST crush on Donnie Wahlberg (Mark's brother) - Donnie's an actor now and not even as cute as he was when he was out there shakin his booty on stage! :-)

I grew up in the late 60s and early 70s, but my favorites were the 50s & 60s.
Dion & the Belmonts, Elvis, Monkees, anything Doo Wop, Beach Boys, etc. While my friends were getting drunk and getting high listening to Kiss, Aerosmith and Alice Cooper, I was cruising in my '67 Ford Galaxy to The Duke Of Earl.

Sadly, I'm still within that age range (I'm 15...). When I was 10 I started listening to Slipknot and Evanescence, and from there I started liking other varieties of rock, heavier rock, and punky pop music, like My Chemical Romance, System of a Down, Korn, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, and others, and I like most of the same bands today.

Much as this fills me with shame, the first record I ever bought was Kylie and Jason (shudder) I was only 9 at the time and I had absolutly zero taste, lol.

As emberrassing as this is to admit I was a HUGE Michael Jackson fan back in the day...I wore my Beat It jacket proudly! Even tried the Moonwalk ...But hey it was the time of Thriller and he was "In" so that's not too bad right? *Crawls back into her cave of shame*
