As you read the mean-spirited answers to this question, it's easy to see how sanctimoniously insane our population has become. Apparently the toxic poison that spews forth from the Hitleresque mouths of people like Shawn Hannity and Rush Limbaugh is working to create a society of hate-filled bigots with absolutely no compassion or sensitivity for the sanctity of human life.
The day will come when this nation will be attacked on its own shores (probably by China within a generation or two) and will find itself in the position of witnessing hundreds of thousands of its own people slaughtered. I wonder how family survivors will feel when they read such hatred on the Internet coming from our captors?
The salacious arrogance of people in the U.S.A. is shameful and reprehensible. Even if one agrees that some innocent people must die in this unconstitutional and illegal 'war', you'd think there would be some outpouring of grief or empathy for those who have lost their lives.
But, instead we seem to rally to the body count! One day this great nation will live to regret its war-mongering when we will become the victims of another nation's rage, hate, jealousy and covetousness.
We are a repugnant, corrupt, greedy, evil society led by incompetent, corrupt, greedy, evil men who call themselves "honorable". -RKO- 05/06/07

Than number is taken from the lunatic estimates of some very confused activists. I can understand their frustration but not the fact that they - de facto - support mass murderers like Saddam (good riddance), Al-Q &co and the mad mullahs of Iran.
You also seem to forget that the un-lamented Saddam was personally responsible for at least 600 000 murdered Iraquis (and there are skeletons in mass graves to prove that) as well as the over 1 milion dead in the Iraq-Iran war (where the "non-existent" WMD's were used on a massive scale).

At least now they have a chance to live normal lives. Sure enough, there are people who- for various reasons- don't like that (some of those people live in Afghan caves and others in the halls of Congress).

I, for one, do not feel that the fact that the people of Iraq have a different shade of skin colour makes them somehow less worthy of living in freedom.

...And the millions of Iraqi refugees stuck in other countries.... And the Iraqi living who have been blown apart but can't receive medical care? And the Iraqi families who suffer the loss of their relatives.

No, Republicans don't care a hoot. They think they are so privileged that this could NEVER happen to them here in the US, but that it could happen to any other group in the US. That's their logic.

The Republicans curiously lack feelings about human beings because they have already created so much suffering through their policies right here in the US. Greed got in the way.

And why, after the millions slaughtered and the resulting blood bath which followed our early withdrawal from Viet Nam - directly caused by the anti-war crybaby far left liberals - would you be inclined to fault the republicans for wanting to try and prevent such a holocaust in Iraq?
Go write a letter of support to your heroes Harry and Nancy and stop your half hearted attempts to spin your policies of defeat in Iraq on the republicans.

Yes Andy, we are. But, we realize that if we were not fighting terrorists there would be many more lives lost. Republicans will not adopt the "out of sight, out of mind" mentality of the Dems and lead this country into disaster.

Because the estimate is wrong along with your unlisted George Soros source. Try the UN estimate

No. Republicans just know that mixed up, confused people like you made up that number and believe that number is accurate. From the "questions" you've posted this morning, I can see that you are very confused. One day you'll see the light. I hope it's not too far off.

Actually Republicans are VERY sensitive to the death's in Iraq. That's why we are there...sadly some will be lost so that others may live free. Free of being murdered in far greater number's by their own government and religious sect's.
How's that for sensitive?

You are correct with that assumption, the right wingers only care about themselves.

Not to sound insensitive, but your count is about 580,000 too high. Try the facts.
