The party since Roosevelt has taken a pretty hard left turn and it has gotten much worse since around 1990. The progressive caucus are all members of the socialists party in AMerica.
Socialism is a failed concept, it has been tried repeatedly in many forms and the end result is always the same, death, economic collapse and the stripping of rights for the subjects, all the while the Vanguard of the Elite get rich.
For a party that professes it wants to be open minded and look for new solutions you would think that socialism would be the last thing on their minds.
My guess is all they really want is POWER, CONTROL and MONEY and will pretty much do whatever it takes to get it. For a party to be that power hungry has to scare any sane person.
Their direction is clearly against the majority of AMericans wishes. The party is run by a minority in AMerica, hard core socialists and the rest of Congress is not standing up to the lunacy. They are leading us to disaster, economic ruin and are exposing us to dangers from outside the country, people who would love nothing more than to detonate a nuclear device in LA or NYC.
So for anyone who has not been brainwashed, it is pretty clear, the socialists are the enmey within.

No one party is a danger to America. What the real danger is is ignorance. People who make their political decisions and cast their votes on sound bites and fearmongering without finding out what the facts are are the real dangerous ones. People in this country need to start paying attention to what is a fact and what is good TV.

The Democratic party isn't a danger to America as the overwhelming majority of Americans view it. But as for the twisted and intolerant vision of America as a religious state governed by intolerance, fear, and bigotry that is the neocon goal--yes. All decent Americans are opposed to that--it needs to be rooted out and expunged from our national identity.
Because that is not America--not the free and just nation our forefathers fought and died to build and bequeth to us. And there is no place for the neocon "Amerika" in our world.

Like the traditional Republicans the Democrat party has lost it's vision.
The old dems were pro labor and family values.
Now the only thing the BlueStaters have in common is they are not RedsStaters.

It isn't. The Democratic Party will be the ones who will have to clean up Bush's mess, and what a job that will be. At least I know they're up to it.

Because they allow LIBERALS to hijack it. Such a scourge would never be tolerated by the Republicans.
