It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk apacolpse.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).

The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.

Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

The WORLD will come to an END on the day when the earth would not be able to overcome the greenhouse gases. Due to pollution, deforestation, degradation, etc the temperatures would rise to the maximum and all the glaciers and huge ice caps would increase the water level to its maximum. The earth would not be in a condition to save itself. And we humans would not be in a condition to see all this because we would be wiped out of this planet earth before all this because we could not adapt to this harmful environment. And remember that this day is not so FAR TO COME. Every second we are just getting closer to this DAY.

It depends on what you consider as "world" and what you consider as an "ending". For example, you have a husband and he means the world to you. If he cheats on you and leaves you, you could say that your world has come to an end. "World" here is anything that you couldn't live without.

If you mean world as in "earth", or when will our lives end together with the demise of our planet earth, that no one could tell when. It is only quite logical that no one knows for if we know when, or if we know anything at all about the future, then there would be no enjoyment to living our lives.

At the very end. lol
Honestly, there's no such thing as the end of world, well, at least based in that religious vision of the end of the world. That's bogus.
I believe that the end of world will be when everyone dies. So, each one has his/her own end of the world when reaches end of his/her life.
But I'm getting more and more concerned with climate changes and with the pollution in the world. I believe if we don't do anything RIGHT NOW, that will cost us the Earth and the end of the world will be sooner that you expect...

It is cyclical. End is a perception of time differences. We could ask, when will the life of a drop of rain come to an end? It ends when it reaches the ocean, but another life starts in different context.

Even though this earth will not remain habitable for ever, our world will never end, because this Universe is infinitely large and varied which will ensure that we would keep finding alternative abodes whenever necessary. I believe that my this belief is realistic. neither wishful nor optimistic.

We don't know, and it is stated that we will not know when it will come about. But a day will come when it does.
