Isn't stem cells bad since it kills humans embryos? What are the benefits for stem cell beside it can cure disese. What are the pro for stem cells?

To add to the above posts, stem cells do *not* kill human embryos. Stem cells are collected from embryos which are already dead, either by abortion or by being frozen in storage (unused, intended for in vitro fertilization).

The "benefit" of stem cells is that they are necessary to form the human body. After all, how else would you form an entire organism from just a few cells?

They can regenerate nerves and make paralyzed people walk again.

Asking "what are the benefits OF stem cells besides curing disease" is sort of like asking what are the benefits of antibiotics besides curing disease.

If we disregarded that part of it, we'd never use them because all they do is cause side effects.

What good is asking questions apart from provoking thought and getting answers?

Stem cells are not tiny people. They are cells that can become skin, liver, heart, muscle, 1000s of other parts of the body.

To be able to save a person's life with these cells deserves all of the research we can afford and it should be financed by a compassionate government.
