do you have the vacuum set and hose and the connectors for a skimmer hole ........... you need to pay the pool cleaner dude to teach you how to care for your pool and the use of the chemicals and the PH factor levels ----- you will be much happier with your pool if you make that investment and keep the water clear and clean and not overdosed with eye-burning clorine --- a good healthy pool is wonderful ,,,,,,,,,, but it is work and if not cared for then you got green algae and other problems .... pick the day of the month that you like the best to work on your pool ____ let's consider the day is either odd or even ____ EVERY other DAY is exactly what it takes and if you do that then it will only be about 15 to 30 min's and you will find that it actually a relaxing chore and you will be happy with your new zen......................

If your pool has a floor drain, you need to close it. Fill the vac hose with water bu placing the end over the return jet until all bubbles come out by the vac head. Quickly put the hose with the "disc" on the skimmer and start to vacuum.
