Is pokemon ruby and sapphire compatible with gameboy color?

i have a gameboy color and want a new pokemon game, but already have gold, silver, red, blue and yellow. are there any other versions i can play on my gamboy color?

no you cant, and if you do theres a posiblity it may delete the older game.

No - they're not. Ruby and Sapphire are only compatible with games such as Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD.

Ruby and Sapphire can also send Pokémon in their PC over to either Diamond or Pearl.

No because thier old generatioons their not compatible with the new ones
