Probably not.. The dolphins keep saying they wanted the other QB, Beck, anyway. And they knew they could get him with their second pick. So Ginn was like a bonus.. but it was the 9th overall pick!!! They could have traded down, picked up some more selections, and still gotten Ginn or a comparable receiver later in the round, or in the 2nd round. No reason to reach, there were players at other positions available that would have justified a 9th pick. Brady Quinn went like 22nd.. Ginn would (probably) still be on the board in the 2nd round had the dolphins passed on him. Quinn should have been selected before him (although not necessarily by the dolphins).

No way, Ted Ginn Jr is still hurt & all he has is speed. He'll be a very good punt & kick off returner, but not as good as Devin Hester or Pac Man Jones. He's to short to be a very good receiver & his hands arent all that great. The Dolphins are idiots they need a good young quarterback ( Brady Quinn ) not a decreipid old QB that use to be good ( Dante' Culpepper ) & dont say we got John Beck he's 27 years old so he'll be 30 b4 he even understands how to play in the NFL & by then he'll be past his prime. The Dolphins have needed a replacement at QB since Marino retired & i personally believe they past up on the next Marino when they chose Ted Ginn over Brady Quinn. Way to go Dolphins!!!! Dumbasses! GO TITANS!!!!!!!

Quinn is overrated, he didn't do good against anyone except the service academies. He lost to USC every time, and was only cheated out of the win once. He lost EVERY BOWL GAME, and can't blame the refs for not making a call at the end that would have given Notre Dame the game in ANY of them. That said if I was Miami I would have taken Quinn, or ANY QB, before I took Ginn.

I don't believe the dolphins should have drafted either but yes he should have. Brady Quinn is over rated and Ted Ginn Jr. is a glorified punt returned and screen pass catcher.

No way. I think that is the worst pick of the draft. The Dolphins could use a QB, and instead take a guy that returns kicks and is injury prone. Ginn is going to get smashed trying to return in the NFL. That pick was a joke.

i do not believe so,Ginn jr. is a great athlete and a special teamer, but in terms of a true wide reciever he is just alright, him going over the middle to see guys like ray lew or even a brian dawkins ,it could get ugly, plus brady is going to be a good nfl quarterback i think he will win whether he gets the stats or not

I hate to defend the Carp, but they did snag one of the top receiver prospects and then got John Beck, who many felt was on the rise heading into the draft. It's still a questionable decision nonetheless, but it at least shows Cam Cameron is willing to make the unpopular pick if he thinks it's the better one...

i visit grant you 6. ordinary especially sturdy yet you have some questionable alternatives. Oakland is going with Russel or Johnson. i think of the Falcons are extra in all possibility to commerce as much as selection 2, if Oakland takes a QB as you expect, to draft Johnson. I additionally dont see the Colts taking yet another RB interior the 1st around, they lost alot of protecting gamers, so i seem for them to bypass protection interior the 1st few rounds.
