Hi There,

Finding average temp of -176 degrees Celsius, but not finding average day and night temps.

I am sure that just like earth, the temperature at night would probably be a little less, as the daytime would receive more sunlight therefore more heat.

Purdue University website is also asking the same question your asking with no answer.

I looked at another website that looks like it is from a US middle school with some strange statistics. Avg day temp -176 degrees Celsius, night temp 27 degrees Celsius. Not sure why the night would be more than the day...that is strange to me so not sure if this is right. On this site, Pluto's and Neptune's night temp was more than the day temp as well.

Sorry, this is all I could find, but regardless it seems like there is a difference in day and night temperature.

Temperature On Saturn

Planets like Jupiter and Saturn actually produce more heat internally than they get from the sun.

It also depends where you would measure the temperature. Saturn is a huge ball of gas and so if you measure the temperature at the surface you would likely get some difference from the heat of the sun. Further down in the clouds it is possible there is little or no difference night to day in terms of temperature.

Saturn actually provides its own internal heat which is comparable to what it receives from the sun. Remember, Saturn is roughly 10 times as far from the Sun as Earth is, meaning that it receives only one one-hundredth as much radiant energy. The very weak sunlight is averaged out during rotation by Saturn's thick cloud cover, and augmented by the planet's own internal heat. So there is little difference between day and night temperatures.

Day occurs on the part of the planet facing the sun and night occurs on the side that is away from the sun. Saturn, like all planets rotates on an axis, so the are regular nights and days, though they are probably both much coplder than on earth.
