several products are on the market at your H'wares store, locally.. >>>> talk to the lawn & garden "helper" to get what does the best in your area ---- OR use Round-UP or bleach -- before you stain the surface with any harsh chemicals you should try a spot and see if that's okay with you ... moss is tough to kill and it will go away with the 2nd or 3rd application ... persistence is the key .. good luck

mosss needs a dark wet area to grow in,si i would try to dry up the area and try to eliminate the darkness of the area as well. then try some bleach on the area and it might take several appplications.

walter is right on. But, you are going to have to remove the cause, which, probably is moisture. Get rid of the shade.
