well lets see.......breaking your arm accidentally means that you had some sort of accident that beyond your control and it just happened.....maybe you slipped or something fell on you, etc, etc....
breaking your arm on purpose means you intentionally did something or something to yourself to break your arm....why anyone would do that is beyond me.....but i guess it happens.

it would be like pulling a gun out and it not being on safety and it accidentally went off
or
you pulled it out put it your head and pulled the trigger....
scary!

Doctors can tell the "on purpose" stuff from the accidents because of their training. A person could face deeper things than they bargained for: 1. If you were a minor, your parents would HAVE TO be investigated by Child Protective Services for POSSIBLE child abuse--they DON'T take anyone's WORD that they didn't do something. 2. If you're an adult, you can be referred to, or one may be brought in, a Psychiatrist. Why did you inflict bodily injury upon yourself? 3. If you did it one time or, particularly, if you have a history of self-inflicted wounds and bodily problems, your current doctor, by law, can refuse treatment of you because they could face possible court appearances, malpractice suits, etc. Most doctors don't like that "arena."

unless your some kind of weird , you literally wouldnt have it in you to break your own arm , you'd be beating it off the pvement but at the same time trying to not really hurt yourself ! if you fell off of a bike you would naturally try to catch yourself using your arms and legs , which would more then likely result in your arm being bent in a way you never imagined hence causing the break . . .

Well breaking your arm by accident isn't something you can control, breaking on purpose is no different physically but why would you want to break your arm?

Gosh, Linnea, I find your question real strange. In all my very long life, nobody has ever come up to me and asked how they should break their arm.
Everybody I know would much prefer to not have their arm broken.
" On purpose" means intentional, you want to do it.
" By accident " not ON, means that you didn't intend to do it.

The only difference is it always seems easier when it by accident.
But, from a psychological point, I think when people do bodily harm to themselves on purpose, it considered a mental problem by society.

breaking your arm delibratly can be a painstaking task as your brain tells your body to prepare for impact and tenses up so you have difficulties in breaking it.

When you break it by accident the brain doesn't have enough time to tell the body to prepare itself and the break happens.

If you find yourself wanting to harm yourself delibratly i would recomend seeing a dr as it could be a sign of depression or your way of trying to make something in your life better.

I think the real question here, is why would you purposely break your arm? unless you have a hankering for a bottle of perks... in that case, go for it!
