I have never in my 55 years of life been more embarrassed or ashamed of the U.S. Congress. Not surprisingly, with liberal Democrats pushing their mindless agenda, it is no wonder. Have you noticed how these people make NO attempt to address the real problems of the day, but rather only whine, offer no solutions of their own (none that are doable anyway), and concentrate virtually all of their efforts on one investigation after another of the administration? Getting Rumsfeld's head wasn't enough for the frothy-mouthed losers., so they run themselves, and everyone else in Congress, ragged going after Gonzalez, Wolfowitz and their big fish: Rove. Now Kucinich bawls for Cheney to be impeached (won't happen). Feinstein keeps the tears flowing for the poor terrorists we have in Guantanamo (shoot them). The ever-shrill Pelosi wastes time wanting short-term funding until July for Iraq. And Reid declares the whole thing "lost." Without a doubt, has there ever been a sorrier cast of Americans?

You are against the democrats and your partisanship is blinding you. For the first 6 years of the Bush presidency, congress did not exercise any serious oversight. The house of representatives has already passed the minimum wage and several other pieces of legislation. Both the senate and the house are putting pressure on president Bush to carry on what the American people want and are exercising a much needed oversight of the executive branch. A lot of corruption has already been uncovered, more is on the way.

You really need to fact check.Rumsfeld was gone before the new congress was in power.Wolfie's problems have nothing to do with congress. How can the nations chief law enforcement officer not remember anything and think he should keep his job when the main qualification for being a law professional is having a good memory?Other things you said are merely right wing opinions.By the way,I am also 55 and I was more embarrassed by the congress which ignored their oversight duties for 6 years! And if the democrats are so disgusting, why did 11 republican representatives go to have a "conversation" with Bush the other day? Suthmly, what is the difference between 9/11 and 5/11 in a post election year?About 4 months. So if you want to blame Democrats for May of 2007,then you need to blame Republicans for September of 2001.

There is a series of ongoing investigations because the past six years have been nothing but a series of crimes against the constitution and the American people by the republican controlled congress. Democratic government was devised in 1783 specifically to be the protector of human rights and the rights to make choices. The republican congress had made a dictator of GWBoob and started dismantling all of our protections against theocratic tyranny. The only "slolutions" necessary for a democratic government to be successful is to protect the public from what the theocratic republicans want to do to them, which, by the way, is the subject matter of the whole constitution and all of the government programs initiatied since 1783. For the democratic party to be successful, all it has to do is make the republican party fail, and all of our freedoms, rights, our democracy are safe. GWBoob has turned the US military into another holy christian crusade and reinstated Nazi concentration camps. All the "justifications" for going to war with Iraq have been debunked and proven to be lies, which leaves GWBoob in the same category as Adolph Hitler as a warmonger, and Saddam Hussein as a murderer. Loading the Justice Department with right wing theocrats was a brazen attempt to turn the US government into a republican political machine, exactly as National Socialism did in Germany in 1932. GWBoob has even started preparing for another Nazi attack on Russia to re-enslave it's inhabitants and turn it's government back over to the church and a "divine rights" totalitarian dictator.

Gonzales, Wolfwitz and Rove are criminals, Congress has been negligent in not jailing them. Rumsfeld hasn't gone anywhere, he is still screwing things up from a different office in the Pentagon. Gates was just put in there so Bush could get one of his chronies in the Texas A&M job.
Anyone who voted for the Invasion of Iraq or the Patriot Act should be thrown out of office as incompitent. I knew it was a crock, if they didn't they should have. Stupidity s not a defence.

This U.S.Congress needs to investigate the despicable corruption perpetrated by the present administration. They need to put those behind bars who have deceived us and have made a profit over the sactificial lambs they keep sending to Iraq to keep the war alive. If you don't believe they are profiting, you are naiive. Why anyone supports these arrogant profiteers is just beyond reason. Don't you understand that MONEY is the motivation. Do you really think Bush or Cheney gives a flying .... for anybody else. Watch what will happen in Kansas! Another Katrina rescue? It's Oil and Halliburton money...that is why our troops are dying. They just announced five more deaths !

Pelosi, Kucinich, Feinstein, Reid, remind you of Benedict Arnold don't they? Useless. Don't forget Kennedy, brother. They aren't afraid of hyperbole out out-right deceit to spin the facts to illicit favor from their "so-open-minded-their-brains-are-falling-out" constituents. In short, no, they are pretty pathetic.

This is by far the worst congress. Our Constitution and the needs of the people are ignored; George Bush through a web of lies has made it to the top. We need to be careful who we choose for president in 2008; we have to take our country back!

Nonsense, there have been far worse. During President Grant's administration lobbyests brough bags of money into Congress and were openly buying votes. Corruption is much less than it was even 30 years ago.
This Dem led Congress is trying to extracate our armed forces from an Iraq occupation that is killing our young people and draining hundreds of billions of dollars from our treasury. Our idiot president wants to keep our troops there forever so that he won't go down as the pres who lost Iraq to Al Qaeda or Iran.
A better question is - Is Bush the worst President in US history? He certainly is one of the worst, without doubt!
