My mouse has a mind of its own. I try to put the arrow on something and then it goes off somewhere else. I'm really tired of this happening. Is there something I can do somewhere to make it quit? Thank you!! (I have a desktop)

Sounds like you have the mickey mouse instead of the mighty mouse!! ha ha!

now seriously, when mouse misbehaves, it's usually
1 the mouse cable is loose.
2 the mouse is broken.
3 the cable is crimpt or has been bitten.

the mouse-difference with macs and pcs, is that macs don't go moving the cursor around via an option the way windows does. Unless you have installed software to do that.

Call Apple tech support. You've mis-edited your System Preferences for your mouse.
