Everyone's different-- physically, mentally and even emotionally. So depending on their age, experience, mental and emotional quotient people deal with life's difficult situations. Some bear it silently and others are more open about their feelings. Some philosophize about it and some curse the fate. Some become more mature and some simply break down..

I believe so. I've had relatives who died, most of them were old, and I would be sad for a little while, but when my youngest sister died, it was totally different. I was upset at her funeral, but I didn't really cry until, about 1 month later, on her birthday, because it finally sunk in that I wasn't going to see her anymore, get to argue with her, hang out and talk about people, go shopping, or anything else. Now every year on the date of her death, I spend time doing the things that we use to do together in remembrance of her.

yes they do,my partner of 17yrs died 5yrs ago,I have accepted he is dead, but Ive still not totally accepted how he died and the circumstances surrounding his death,my youngest child whom was 6yrs old when he died found it really hard to accept and is still dealing with it not on his own mind I am supporting him and helping him to cope with it...

There is no right or wrong way to cope with grief or time limit, some people seem as though they arent upset as they carry on as before others become depressed and are constantly upset, everyone has their own way of dealing with grief and others situations what is rihgt for one may not be for another, acceptance is a big part of coping with grief when you can do that then you are taking the next step..This is my opinion on it you will find many veiws on this, good question.....

Yes, there are always basics you find in grief but everybody has their own way of dealing with it and of course all in their own time, depending on the person and who or what they're grieving for.

Definately..

Some people lose it.
Some people don't take it in at all..
Some people take it out on themselves
Some people take it out on others...
Some people get over it rightaway...
Some people never do..

Every one is different when it comes to that...
