It works OK(apart from the constant beep) but freezes a lot and the mouse goes sluggish. I have done a defragment, C drive analysis and repair, vacummed the back and uninstalled loads of rubbish that my kids downloaded. Still it beeps!
Help

The beeping is generally from the POST - power on self test - and the number of beeps tells you what the problem is.
You will need to consult your motherboard manual which is normally available from the makers website if you have lost yours and this will give you the codes and possible cures.

Could be a bad keyboard , ram , mouse or chipset problem.

Good luck.

unplug the keyboard and mouse, check that the pins are not bent. And that the none or the keys on the keyboard is pressed. May be you spilled on the keyboard and the keys have stocked down. Clean up your keys in this case

"vaccummed the back"?

Sounds like something came loose inside. Open the case and check that all cables, RAM, video and PCI cards are seated properly.

If you don't know how to do this, take it to a shop before you damage your PC.

Your computer is running too hot! You need to take the shell off your tower and let it cool down, check around the fan inside to see that it is not clogged up. Make sure the computer isnt up against something aswell, make sure the holes that draw in air for your fan arent covered :)
