What's the deal with Alyssa Milano's clothing line? Women can be real baseball fans, but her clothing seems to be only for women to look like...Well, who needs v-neck shirts? If we're real baseball fans, it shouldn't matter that we have to shop in the men's department if that's the only place to find shirts to support our team. And pink? We can wear our team's real colors! I refuse to own a baseball shirt that is pink. Who's with me?!

Btw-what's with all those women sportscasters on places like ESPN? Do they even have a clue what they're talking about?

LOL! You said it all! Her line isn't that bad, but PINK?!?!? WTF? I hate pink. I like wearing navy blue and white and pinstripes! Screw pink, I'd be laughing my way to the grave the day they use it for colors for an actual MLB team.
I don't think any of these women sportscasters have a clue, but at least they're trying. Baseball is mostly a male dominated thing, and to be a female sportscaster on ESPN, is a big thing. It'd be a lot nicer if theyunderstood what they were saying though.

I am split on the issue. I do like some of the new women's cuts that I see on MLB.com from not just Milano but by other brands like Antigua. They are a little bit more form fitting and don't make me feel like I am swimming in some gigantic tent. However, I will NEVER WEAR PINK ANYTHING. Sorry, will sport my green and gold proudly at any and all A's games that I attend.

There are only two options for the A's by Milano and I don't really care for either one. some lame cris cross tank top and basically what looks like a regular old two color baseball shirt I can get at big 5 sporting goods for under 15 bucks.

don't really care about the sportscasters. If they do the job who cares?

Try being a "mature" female baseball fan! I'm with you. A tee shirt is a tee shirt. Even when I was young, I didn't go to a game to be a "fashion diva". I HATE pink! 'nuff said.

As for the women sportscasters? I hate to admit that the majority of them are there to "prove" that sportscasting is no longer an "old boys' club." I'd guess maybe 5% (10% if I'm feeling generous) actually have a clue. Then again, only about 60% of the men really know their sport, too. I miss the days when a sportscaster knew baseball. Or football. Or [insert sport here.] Now they are "jacks of all sports" - they know a little bit about nothing. Just my 2 cents worth.

I don't think any of the sportscasters on ESPN know what they're talking about. :D The only woman Sportscasters I've come to like are Hazel Mae and Tina Cervasio from NESN, which is my local sports station, they actually seem like they have a clue!

As for the clothes, I think it's actually pretty neat that they're recognizing that women like sports too. I still generally only wear my heavy duty guy's clothes to games anyway, but I don't think it's a horrible idea. And the pink shirts and hats are just like, say, a green Red Sox hat (of which there are a lot out there, it's the Boston Irish thing) for guys and girls alike. I don't wear them, but I don't find them particularly offensive. If anything, I think it's good that MLB isn't ignoring its female fans.

I'm not a Women but I never quite understood why all of the uniforms for them were pink.Guess I do now.As for the sportscasters none of them, women or men, have a clue.Ok maybe 1 or 2 of them do but not much more. Also some of the broadcasters have no clue what there talking about.Example being that I was watching the Indians play the Yankees on the Yankees network. So they announced the starting pitchers,Jeremy Sowers and Kei Igawa. So they pronounce Sowers name Josh Showers and when they show a pitcture of him it's actually a picture of another indians pitcher Cliff Lee. My point is that these announcers who announce for their team don't know a thing about the other.

You're right on the first part. But, as for the second part, the sportscasters who actually have a clue vary in gender. I don't have any pink sports shirts. It's true, I want to wear my team's colors, not just their logo. Colors of teams mean a lot.

I'm sure the clothing line was designed with her in mind. She's dated a few ball players, including Barry Zito and Carl Pavano. It would only make sense she would want to take a part of that and make it girly for her. And as a guy, I think chicks in sports jerseys and uniforms are kind of a turn on.

Hey did you know she (Alyssa Milano) dated Jeter? I am with ya. I would rather wear the Yankee colors than pink. But my son has a red fitted hat that is a Yankee hat. Just cause red is his favorite color. People say its Sox colors, which it is but his favorite color is red and has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SOX. I guess people just does what they want.I myself have a Bernie Williams tshirt, hat, and two jerseys. I bet you have no clue who I love and miss :( :( :(?
