Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Do you know that saying? Some people just like the way you act and so they try to do likewise. Why is that so offensive to you? Live and let live. People have a right to act 'Ghetto' if they feel like, it may not look right but apparently it feels good to them.
Some white people may not admit that they like blacks but they try to look like them anyhow (subconsiously) what with the wanting bigger lips and bigger bottom (features mostly found in the blacks) and for blacks, some tend to 'bleach' their skin trying to make thier complexion lighter. Just live life the best you can and try to be happy while at it.

I dont know that I would call it acting ghetto, I see it as trying to fit into a culture that is accepted today, Unless you go to a specialty shop if you go to the shopping malls thats the type cloths that are being made so you buy what is available.
I am white, and I speak white, dress like a normal white person, and have no desire to be anything than what I am. If I see a apple bottom shirt I like I buy it, because I like it if I see a pair of bibbed overhauls an I like them I will buy them, because its my choice not because of anyone

Well if it bothers you so. then don't dress like it. You people always act like whites are better then you.
So instead. Its their way of saying we are like you. Because whites live in the ghetto too.
Not all white people have money. Why can only mexicans and blacks be ghetto?
When you say it like that, you are saying: " we are better then you whites."
Isn't that a racist remark? And are seperating yourselfs from other parts of society.
Then you holler racist.
Why can't white people be ghetto?
If a white person was to say something like that.
You would holler racist. To be honest i'm mexican, and i don't feel i need to dress like you, to prove who i am.

Do you hear yourself? What's ghetto? Why is the term used to describe urban people and environments? In reality, those people are only imitating hip hop culture. Since white teens buy most of the hip hop records and attend the concerts, that seems like a sincere form of flattery. Get a life.

It's a form of admiration. Kids see their favorite music artist and want to be like them. It's been going on for decades. White kids don't think about looking stupid wearing those clothes and acting that way because they're not black. They just think about wanting to be like the people they admire.
