The law calls it illegal to enter the US without permission. It looks like we pick the laws we choose to enforce. If we enforced the law and deported illegals immediately and made the passports and green cards easier and less expensive to obtain there would be no reason for any one to come in illegally. I for one do not believe in giving criminals a reward for breaking the law. I work and pay taxes. Social Security was initiated to take care of me a law abiding citizen not an illegal immigrant. Welfare is for those who live here whether born or legal immigrants not for those who break our law to be here. I don't get free medical, welfare, housing etc. and illegals wouldn't either if we took them back to their country with instructions on how to get here the right way.

If we choose not to enforce the law we should abolish it or continue to look like wimpy hypocrites.

I think anyone illegal needs to be sent back to where they came from. There are legal processes to getting into the USA. I'm moving to Denmark, and I don't plan on doing it illegally. I plan on going through the long process of getting accepted there, which is a LOT harder than getting accepted to the USA.

They should not get ANY governmental benefit. If they are identified, they should be deported or prosecuted. I don't have any problem with immigrants as long as they are legal. If I did something illegal, there would be repercussions, not government handouts!

I think all "illegals" need to be deported, they are draining our resources, and raising our taxes.
