yes mate, that will work fine, however i didnt know they did a 7800gs(or gt)in agp interface
previously that card was only avalible for pci-express boards, however manufacturers are ralising the amount of users who are still using a.g.p based boards
considering the amount of budget motherboards coming with agpx8 interfaces theres a hole in the market for high end agp cards such as the one you have
shapphire have just released the x1950pro in agp interface, with 36 pixel pipelines and a 560mhz core clock, this is a real workhorse
however ,as with all high end "power hungry"cards,a sufficent p.s.u is needed, normally anything above 400watt should be ok,however i would go for a 500watt just to be sure, last thing you want is to power up your p.c and watch your pride and joy burst into flames
good luck with your new card!
cheers

Well I have a 7800 GS AGP at the moment, and my power supply is 300 watt ( I think so). So you should be alright.

I didn't realise they released the 7800 GS with +512 MB.

The 7800GS consumes a little over 50 watts. A 300W power supply may or may not be able to support the card. If it can, it will run hot and possibly stress one of the power rails a lot. I would suggest a higher rated power supply. It would run cooler and give you room for future upgrades.
