THINK... the only people who LISTEN to AM radio are old white people that listen to the lids like Limbaugh or to some preacher. Those people don't even HAVE computers and the Internet is beyond them... so they listen to that right wing nonsense while they are oiling their guns.

"Liberal" radio if you will has consistently failed on AM, while yes, republican/conservative radio thrives. I don't like how you call it hateful and propaganda. EVERYONE in this great country is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. Just because it isn't your own opinion doesn't necessarily mean its wrong. I wish you guys wouldn't try to censor opposing beliefs. The great thing about this country is that we can all voice our opinions and be heard. As for it being fair, well libs don't like listening to the radio evidently, and you have the newspapers and television (with the possible exception of fox).
I dislike how you generalize posters above me, I am in my youth and enjoy listening to them, to hear both sides of arguments, etc. Obviously I have a pc and internet, and I'm probably more computer savvy than either of you.

It's not that hard to understand... If I want to listen to world news and discussion, I turn on talk radio. Much better than listening to some head banging worthless music or listen to a rapper try and rap the Star-Spangled Banner.

Because people listen, so the stations make money!!!! They don't expect other people to give them money, they just expect advertisers to advertise, and apparently it works, because they are still on the air, can't say that for "Air America"!!!

Because that's who listens. That's who supports the programming, through the statistical purchase of products and services advertised. And that's who generate call in responses to issues and topics.
But, remember it is just entertainment, folks.
