Based on the only successful communities in our world we have to look at the animal and insect kingdom. The needs of the community is greater than the needs of the individual. Each member of the community has a "job" and each job is equally important. The Doctor and the sanitation person are equally important to the community and each member appreciates them. No one is trying to "out-do" any other member. Much like the human body, the tibia does not aspire to become the brain, and the brain (and other organs) do not see the brain as superior to the tibia.
