I'm just curious, but if it is easy then I might have a go.

You will want the marbles, or larger course gravel to protect the eggs. Zebra Danios are the most common of all the danios.
Being schooling fish, they prefer to be in groups of six or more. Danios prefer water with a 6.0–8.0 pH, a water hardness of up to 5.0–19.0 dGH, and a temperature range of 68–80 °F (18–24 °C), the lower end of the temperature range is ideal.
Breeding
Ideal for beginners, as they are prolific breeders. Zebra Danios are somewhat unique, as they are quite loyal to their chosen mate. Mated pairs remain together, and rarely spawn with others, even if one mate dies.

The breeding tank should be set up with shallow water, approximately six inches deep. Furnish the tank with fine-leafed plants or a spawning grid on the bottom. Course gravel works well, as the eggs will fall between the gravel pieces and will be protected from the adult fish, which will readily eat their own eggs.

Spawning requires temperatures of up to 78 degrees, and can be triggered by raising the water a couple of degrees near dawn, when spawning normally occurs. 300 to 500 eggs will be scattered across the bottom and on the plants. Remove breeders after spawning, as they will consume the young.

The fry will hatch in two days. They are very tiny, and can easily be lost when changing water, so take care when maintaining the grow-out tank. Feed the young commercially prepared fry food, or finely crushed dry foods. Powdered egg may also be added to the fry food to promote growth.

It depends on the current temperature of your tank if the increase would work or not. If the tank is already in the upper 70's then no it wouldn't. If however the tank is cooler then a 2-3 degree raise very well may trigger spawning.

When people speak of marbles in the bottom of a danio spawning tank, it's in place of the gravel. There would be 2-3 layers of marbles there to allow the eggs to fall through so that the parents can't eat them.

As far as easy, zebra danios may well be the very easiest egg layer to breed. Protecting the eggs from the adults is the only real trick.

umm... no.

danios usually spawn at lower temperatures... and marbles do not make them spawn.

marbles are put in the tank so that when they do spawn, the eggs fall between them so that the parents dont eat them! You dont need to use marbles for this. any type of mesh or other rocks will do... or put them in a breeding box so the eggs will fall through the slit at the bottom into the tank....or just remove the parents after they have spawned.
