i got caught steeling at six flags and now my dad says i cant go anywhere cause he thinks im gonna steal he said all summer but do u think he rly means all summer?

Why did you steal in the first place? You got caught. You got off lucky. Six Flags' policy is to prosecute shoplifters to the fullest extent of the law.
Getting grounded for the rest of the summer? You got off lucky. It beats being in jail...which is where you would be if SF had decided to prosecute.
I'm beginning to think they should have...and had your sorry butt spend some time in jail. Maybe you'll learn from this. I hope so.

If I were him, I would mean all summer! Steeling is a sh*t thing to do, and apparently you are bad at it because you got caught! Truly, how old are you, five? And, I can't possibly imagine what amusement park goody is so great that you have to steal it! Most crap that you can buy or win there is lame. Tell your father that the dieing moose and I agree thoroughly with his decision.â¥

Personally, I think your dad is letting you off a bit easy... do you have to pay restitution to the park? Did HE have to pay restitution to the park???
I have been extremely lucky with my sons, they are to a point, OVERELY honest... and get caught in EVERY lie they tell to me.... grounded for a summer is small tater's compared to what you COULD have gotten from the police.. or to have me as a mom....
My son's to repay me for paying restitution would be picking up trash , yard work.. and any OTHER nasty dirty job I could think up.. as well as being grounded... or better yet.... doing community service for the county in which they got busted....
Think about what you did.. and just HOW it could have effected your future.... shop lifters can not work in ANY job that involves merchandise nor money..... what prospect's does that give you for summer jobs while in school......?
Your dad is trying to make you see just how serious and offense stealing is........ be grateful he didn't say call the cops...

your summer is lost because of bad judgment. was it worth it? was what you were trying to steal worth loosing your summer over? you need to think things through otherwise loosing the summer will be the least of your worries.

If you have a good Dad then he will hold you to it. Stealing will get you in serious trouble if you don't watch it.
