Rare animal is that their number is very few left in this earth or should i said they are critically endanger . They are hard to seen anymore hence they are rare. Mostly rare animal would ended up in captivite

the best ex. that comes to mind first are monotremes (platapus, spiney anteater) these are mammals that lay eggs.
