Yup, kinda, sorta...LOL
The Universe is constantly there for you, like a fixed picture, it's just there. You can close your eyes and pretend it's not, though. In this sense, no, it doesn't give you any choice, only pretending; which, by the way, we all do so skillfully....LOL
But at the same time, IF, and only IF, you give, even a rat's @** about it, IT will show* you What*. Meaning, it will unfold before your eyes and all your questions will be answered, just like that!
Universe = Law / Purpose
The Law is the fixed picture which gives you only one choice, to pretend. The Purpose is your reaction which gives you a multiple choice, interaction, conversation, evolution, etc.
So, IF you don't care, you get The Law, which will translate into Pain. And IF you care, you get the Purpose, which will give you Pain / Pleasure. And IF you interact / evolve, you will get Peace / Patience, which will enable you to see the big picture and will take you to the next level.
You know, sometimes, when you say hello to someone you love and that person does not answer back, you feel like sht. Well, The Universe is constantly saying HELLO to us....LOL

there's a huge hollow between organic demise and demise as penalty by regulation of Justice to sidestep cruelty and to provide soothing contact to sufferer's sufferings. while the Universe, a tremendous gadget to run the existence of all kinds, won't be able to be detached in any respect. No gadget ever run indifferently. Social gadget can not run without Justice and Justice gadget is not merely made from criminal justice.

'money makes the world goes around' and while making money there is no space for such things as meaning, security, closure and love are.
it's a shame...and if you think about those phenomena too often, you take a risk your life passes next to you without your real involvement.

Well, the "universe" is a bunch of planets; inantimate objects without human emotions, so I'm not sure what you mean by "universe."
