Check your air filter first. Airflow problems can cause this. If no problem there, look into heating, as bikerwookiejim suggests.

Some bikes suffer bad starting when hot because the fuel in the carb bowls evaporates due to the radiating heat from the engine. My old 1985 GSXR 750 used to do it. I bought a heat shield from a tuning shop (basically a thin shield of metal with four holes in that you slotted between the carbs and engine block)
never did it again unless the weather was very hot.

If you have a "Prime" setting on your fuel tap then try turning it to that for a few seconds before firing back up, it will top the carbs up.

Sticking or mis adjusted float heights can cause it too although it normally runs crap as well.

You really need to inform us of the type and model of your bike. However the advice given by BikerWookieJim is spot on. I had the same problem with a Suzuki GT250 of similar vintage to yours, I replaced the coils on my bike as they corrode where the HT leads plug in (common an old Suzukis) and replaced the HT leads but this did not cure the problem. Sticking it on prime for a few seconds and then back to main worked a treat. I eventually made my own heat shield and never had the problem again. Vote for Bikerwookiejim as I am certain that this will cure your bike and he gave you the answer first.
Stay safe and have fun my friend.

It sounds like you are getting a vapour lock in the carb. This can happen when the engine gets over-hot -- prolonged high speed or too much sharp acceleration and running the engine too fast in too low a gear for extended periods can be a cause. Also, it could be that the fuel mix is too lean -- so your engine is running hot. Either way, a good tune up by a reputable motorcycle shop could well solve the problem
