evn theres no family history or nythin like that distinct growth of facial hair.

but even shaving doesnt help it ...it doesnt grow at all...very fine thin hair...only...as oppoesed i hv hair..everywhere on my body...pubic..chest..abdomen...

I found that the more I shaved, each time it grew out thicker & longer. If this is not a hereditary thing. I simply had to be very patient. It use to grow in little weird patches, and spots... uneven looking and scraggly. I just continued to shave it until it grew more, then I discovered the beauty of having a SOUL PATCH! The best part is, you can be both clean shaven & good looking w/ some facial hair. :)

How lucky you are. You do not know the difficulty of shaving even in alternate days and the time it takes.
I was also like you. I did not have facial hair or body hair till about 18. i shaved. no use. then slowly hair started growing. But even today it is not dense.
But there is an advantage I have noticed. For those people who have less hair they do not age that fast and look younger even when they become old.( In my family all of us look younger, then you can see people of Mongoloid race, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans etc. they never seems to grow old. Also they have less facial hair).

I did not have to shave everyday till I was 25, some people just develop at different times. Take a look at Dad, Grandpa and Uncles, may be they don't have a lot of hair either, it could be genetic. Ask Dad about it, he might not have had much hair at 20 either.
