The only mandate the voters gave in after vote polls was corruption.

Now look at what the dems/socialists did with that
Pelosi and the tuna scam
Reid and his real estate "investments"
Feinstein making over 40 million off the position she had on a committee
Pelosi negotiating with terrorist states and telling them what Israel would do, like she speaks for the world
Dems in congress playing politics with our soldiers lives and safety. Stripping our intelligence gathering capabilities.

I can only hope that bush gets some cajones and slaps the commies down for the remainder of his term.

It is simply a matter of intelligence, common sense, and respectability. The RIGHT doesn't seem to have any anymore. With the constant bumbling of the Bush administration, and the steady stream of scandals and lies from the Republican right, everyone has gotten sick of them. The Republican RIGHT also has tried to be the "family values" party, and they are anything BUT! The entire nation is moving LEFT.

It is like the old adage "absolute power corrupts absolutely". The Republicans have been in power for too long, and are making a mess of things. Currently the Democrats are doing everything right that this country needs. But of course, we will get sick of them too, and feel there is a need for change and put the Republicans back into office.

This is how America has been able to survive, because we have a two party system, because we all have differing ideas, and this keeps us in balance as a nation, so that no one group of people ever has more power over a sustained period than another group.

Live with it, accept the differences, and long live AMERICA!

What's the "real message?" Many people were afraid of Kerry? The Repbulicans only hold right now is proclaiming to be the morality party, when in fact, many Dems. are religious and believe in values/morals too.

I think the current message is fixing America. Healthcare, the gap between the rich and the poor, our public transportation system (forget all the cars). We both graduated from college over here and can barely afford a home! That is not the Amercian Dream. Whoever wants to make the dream a possiblity for myself and others has my vote.

gunsmith--The entire Nation IS NOT moving left. That's the biggest bunch of propagandist bullsh--it claim. If they had a real plan beginning middle and end--instead of just opting to steer away from the conserves view point, then, we might hear and see changes. But they don't have any plan at all to install a new fresh successful outcome. Most democrats in politics live a very republican lifestyle-even John Kerry-and Al Gore do not live a 'green' life style with their 4 SUVs v-8's and 10k square foot energy hog homes. I mean really, no one takes them very seriously. Even Hillary's in trouble for supporting the Iraq war then not, then supporting, like a yo-yo back and forth.

The democrats remind me of the old saying"
"Penny wise, Pound foolish."

Tony, you're right. They've got their chance and they're blowing it. It was a big mistake to allow Reid and Pelosi to manage things.

I'm a conservative and we're watching closely because they're giving the Repubs the prime opportunity to take the elections again. They need leadership.

They are stupid and they want to surrender America to the terrorists. I will tell you one thing, after two years of their bumbling and defeatist policies being proposed, they will not be trusted to run the dog pound.

You are right. They were voting more conservative not more liberal.
