Loyalty would follow honesty. Honesty would be the trait that dictates your judgement on whom you should be loyal to, and whom will stab you in the back for your honesty.
Blind loyalty, on the other hand, would be an emotional subserviance to someone who's intentions are flawed. If your loyalty means you are not allowed to question whom you honour, then it is based upon a lie, and is therefore dishonest.
Hence, honesty wins over loyalty.

The issue is that no matter what you choose, there will be as much cruelty, lack of conscious and evil in the world. The real problem that I would like to bring into discussion is the fact that less and less people are interested in such topics nowadays. Making money seems to be the most important thing, which makes people confuse the mean with the goal. There is also a problem of values which are highly relativised, and leads to anomy, a big disease of our world today. Returning to your question, I find it impossible to answer to, because, to my mind, these two values belong to a bigger palette of moral norms, which are interdependent. Honesty without loyalty and viceversa is like morality without ethics. Regards, Persephona.

Honesty, always.
Beginning with being honest with yourself anf proceeding to honesty with others. You can't be loyal, or for that matter, loving, kind, trusted, friends, or anything else that involves two or more people without it! At least, thats always been my opinion.
I'd rather a friend I trusted tell me that something I was wearing was ugly than tell me that they liked it and it be a lie. I'd rather tell someone who asked that I didn't like jazz than sit through a concert bored and restless and never say a word.

Being loyal is sticking with somebody no matter what. Honesty is being true no matter what. Both are important. If I will be choosing one, I'd choose loyalty. Being loyal is also being true to someone and never leaving his side.

Loyalty. As much as I prize honesty, I would lie if necessary to protect someone I love.

Both Loyalty & Honesty are qualities that I have personally for me Honesty is very important, you can not trust someone who is not honest..............
They both go hand in hand if your are honest with your friends, you will aslo be loyal to them, because you are being honest about your relationship with them, if someone is disloyal to you it doesnt me they werent honest with you,to be disloyal is to desert your alligience.I would rahter people where honest with me as loyalty is a duty to something, and may not always convey honesty........

I chose Honesty cause you get to tell the truth instead of telling lies. Honesty makes your friends believe you so when you say something they will believe you and you won't want to lose a friend wold you?

I choose Loyalty. This being because IF I am loyal to someone then I am honest to that person. BUT if I am HONEST to a person I may not necessarily be loyal.
