how can i get a sponsor to help my group pay 300euros for an international youth conference on YOUTHS AGAINST?

ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE to be held in USA and ITALY.I come from Kenya,a country in East Africa.We have managed to submit our names to the conference organisers.We cant raise that amount,300euros,our families earn less than one dollar per day.We have five days from know to submit our registration fees.The deadline is 10th may 2007.Though we come from a poor background,we wanted to give our views about the drug issue because it is an issue that affect our youth very much.Infact we have been victim of this circumstances.
Anyone who has information on who we can turn to for help to contact me.I am the group leader of a delegate of six from kenya

Try to find any American companies in Kenya and contact them. Tell then what you are seeking and ask them to provide you with the corporate contact to see if they will sponsor your trip.

Are there and Hilton Hotels? McDonald's Restaurants?

For the company (or companies) who sponsor you, it might be good publicity and it might actually be a tax write-off for them as well.

Try to write an youth organization in the hosting country, a bit away from the actual meeting but near enough that they can meet you.
Like all in the sub-urbs of the town where the meeting is held.
Good groups to ask are Christian (church) groups and Scouting, but also sport organizations.
To get the addresses, google or so on the name of the town and church scouting or football in the local language. (Sorry I do not speak Italian.)
Promise to come to their own place when they help you, and tell about your local groups, or play a game against them in whatever sport you have in common. (Soccer?)
Ask them to ask their members who have shops or small businesses to help.
I hope you can make it, it would be real good if you are able to go to the meeting.

Have you told the people organizing how difficult it is for you, so that the next time they will make the time longer so you have more time to organize the money?
